Air Jordan 6 (VI)

The Air Jordan 6 (VI) was released in late 1990, and designed by Tinker Hatfield. In the 90-91 season Jordan won his first NBA Championship wearing these Jordan shoes. These sneakers were originally designed for the former N enzel Harris, but were later taken off the market due to lack of sales. Michael wanted the heel tab positioned so it did not hit his Achilles tendon, making the Jordan 6 first shoe to have any sort of molded structure on the back. The last touch Tinker gave was incorporated the number " 23 " on the design of the shoe. The entire tongue, and part of the lace locks of the Jordan VI were inspiration for the Air Jordan Spizike. The lace locks and back tab of the Jordan VI were also inspiration for the Air Jordan 6 Rings.
