The first batch of Air Jordan 5 (V) Retro to release took place in 2000, and Original color schemes. One of the most desired pair is the Air Jordan 5 (V) Retro Black / Metallic Silver / Black. The Micheal Jordan shoes feature an all black upper, with the classic plastic grated mesh along the side panels, and the 3M reflective tongue. Some noticeable features include the clear lace locks, clear outsole, which come up the sides of the shoe at some parts, and the " 23 "logo at the heel, which is unlike the orginals. The orginals also featured the Nike Air logo at the back as where these feature the Jumpman logo.
