The release date for the Air Jordan 16 (XVI) Original (OG) + Cherrywood / Light Graphite / Whisper White were June 2, 2001. They feature a white upper constructed from leather, as well as a burgundy color at the back half of the shoe, as well as the outsole. They also feature an air bubble which spans pretty much the entire length of the shoe. From the normal eye, the Air Jordan shoes looks identical to the other Jordan 16, but the toe box contains a leather, rather than patent leather.
